Athena's First Impact Report

As we enter our second year in business, we are taking a moment to reflect on all that we achieved in year one. Back in December 2020, Adrienne Ost
roff, Founder & Principal of Athena, embarked on a journey that would prove to be the most challenging and rewarding of her career. She selected the Greek Goddess Athena to lead the way - both the goddess of math and goddess of war - stories of Athena characterize her as the ultimate feminist, waging war only in situations where she was defending those incapable of defending themselves.
The first wave of Athena marketing assets were scrappily put together with the help of
family and friends. Our very first logo was meant to be simple and represent our desire to "be the change we wish to see in the world", with the delta triangle representing change.
The year progressed and, day by day, a company was built. Our relationships with clients, colleagues and within our community converted into sales and a growing team, each new member joining the excitement of working for a new and growing consulting firm. With each new client, we invested in increasing our operational efficiencies through technology, tools and open communication within the team. Our hard work paid off leading to several significant wins just after the New Year.
More important than profit, Athena is attracting team members who are excited about our mission and looking forward to growing something from the ground up. We are grateful for each and every one of them, and look forward to seeing what year two has in store.
